A friend of mine is publishing a book about people who have had seemingly coincidental meetings with others in a way that changed their lives. Azriella already has another book that will be released in 1996 by Harper Books. She is especially interested in the Holocaust and wants to learn your stories.
Have you found relatives or friends of your parents that you thought had perished in the Holocaust? Do your parents have stories about such fateful encounters? Do you have other stories of about how you may have met someone by "chance" and that meeting dramatically changed your life?
My father "just happened" to recognize one of the American soldiers who liberated him from Buchenwald, seven years after Liberation in Augusta, Georgia! I tell that story in my portion of Abe'sStory and it will soon be posted in the Cybrary.
Write your story or your parent's story and email it to me at JWKorn@aol.com and we just might getit published by a major publisher. It can be a few paragraphs or several pages long. Don't worry about format or grammar as my friend will be editing all the stories. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing what develops.
