Cause Mom Said So. What… a Hurricane?

Time Saver:

I was sitting at my desk working one day and was
listening to the radio. I heard about this reality
show audition that was coming up, but I knew I was
going to be out of town and wouldn't be able to go.
As I was listening to the radio, it gave a website
that you could go to and apply online. I called my
mother, since mom's know best. I told her about it
and she said to me, "Try it, you will never know
unless you do." I told my mom that I would NEVER get
selected as one of the finalist, so why bother. She
then said to me, "How do you know? If you don't try,
then you won't." So I went to the website and decided
to fill out the application and see what happens.
Time got away from me and I didn't send in a tape, so
I knew I was not going to be selected. But then one
day, I had an email in my inbox telling me to come to
the Capital Events Center on a certain day. I was
hesitant to go, but I had this voice (my mom's) in my
head, saying you will never know if you don't try.
Then on that day, we had a hurricane coming, so I was
very nervous, but decided to go anyway. I was divided
into a group of ALL MEN and things started from there.
