Who’s hotter…'Producer' or President Bush?!?

Kiss:

When I finally received the e-mail that said I had made the first cut, and I was on the Green team, I was excited and confused to say the least. Many things were running through my head, from what I should wear to how many others would be called back. Was I on one of 2 teams or 10? What was this really all about? All I knew was that Saturday I was going to dress to impress, probably in something green (which I was disappointed about, because that is definitely NOT my color!), and head to the Capital Events Center. When I arrived, 15 minutes early, I noticed that there were only about 50 people there, but I figured more would be arriving later, I mean there was a hurricane headed our way!! We waited around for everything to get started, and then we waited some more. Everything seemed to take forever, but I just assumed that’s how television works. I found some people I had met at the original auditions and decided to go sit with them. We talked about our feelings on the show and whether or not we thought it was legitimate. I felt that it would be a good experience, a few others around me, although one was a very good looking guy, had a bad attitude and was not so optimistic. Within ½ hour, “The Producer” got up and began speaking about Entrepreneur$, EventsLeader, and how we could all be involved. I knew this show was for me, there was nothing that could stop me and on top of that “The Producer” is HOT!! We were told to break into our teams, so I had to find the green team’s circle and noticed that many of the people in my group were people I had seen at Jillians and based on first impressions, I was not intimidated. Among the people in my group, first I met an overconfident “W” (who thinks he looks like George Bush, I personally think Mr. Bush is much hotter), a nerdy looking “Mr. Devious”, and a slightly trashy looking “Red” (classy/sexy is one thing…but a shirt that bares your midriff to a business function??). As our group began discussing ways to raise the sponsorship money “The Producer” had explained, it seemed like people were trying to talk as much as they possibly could to prove themselves a leader. I personally think; if you don’t have anything intelligent to say, don’t say anything at all. I waited for my turn and then suggested throwing a party at a local nightclub to raise sponsorship money for the group and to gain exposure for the show and EventsLeader and people agreed that it was a good idea. I became the point person for that task. I knew I could raise the $1000 sponsorship capital, and the business plan for EventsLeader was something I was eager to learn more about. Before I left, “E.D” approached me and said he would like for me to do an individual on-camera interview. I took this as a good sign for me making it to the next level. As I left the Capital Events Center I felt good about my chances for making it to the Final 16. I was just wondering how long I would have to put up some of the other people before making it there.

So how much money did your team raise doing the fundraiser at the club?

I actually talk about the fundraiser and the ups and downs of throwing an event like that in my next entry. I hope you will check back later to read about it. It was definately an interesting experience, especially working with people who really don't understand the night club industry and what it takes to be successful. I certainly learned alot.
