ADDITIONAL BENEFITS OF LISTENING TO YOUR INTUITION

Given that the intuitive network consists of our brain, body, memories and dreams, it is in our best interest to listen to our bodies, perhaps, more than we do. In working with patients for many years, I have had many share with me that before the loss of a loved one, they would experience a repetitive pain in a part of their body. One mom (whom I will call Ann), for example, reported that for several months leading up to the death of her son, she had an aching in her ribs which she could not explain. After the unexpected death of her son, the pain disappeared. However, Ann has noticed that on several occasions, she has experienced the re-emergence of the pain before the deaths of family members or friends. Ann now realizes that somehow her body intuitively knows of forthcoming events before she is consciously aware of them.

Medical intuitives, in particular, listen carefully to their own body when working with another who is ill. Mona Lisa Schulz cites a number of cases in Awakening Intuition in which she felt the pain of her patient within her own body. For example, while working with one woman, Schulz began to notice that she (Schulz) was burning up. When she mentioned this to the woman with whom she was speaking by phone, the woman laughed, explaining that her problem was that of having fevers. Parents, I hope, will take note of this because they are so closely aligned with their children or one another that it is not unusual for them to experience symptoms their family members are having. This is similar to Mother's Intuition which occurs when moms feel something their child (no matter what the age may be) is experiencing in another location.

Have you noticed feeling the same symptoms your family member has reported – or have you experienced Mother’s Intuition? Please, e-mail us your story so that we may share it with others.
