I had the honor and privilege of being the emcee and moderator for a panel for GEW Sacramento called "No Fear. No Box. Let's Go!
It was so exciting to be connected to tens of thousands of people in 78 countries around the world all participating in GEW!
A panel of extraordinary entrepreneurs and strategists shared with us their perspective on successful entrepreneurship in the 21st Century.
Here are questions I asked the panel and some of the take-aways I found fascinating:
No Fear.
Q. How can you be an entrepreneur in the 21st Century - where rapid change is the norm - without fear?
A. There will always be fear. The key is how you respond to it. "Feel the fear and do it anyway" was the consensus of the group. If you aren't feeling any fear, you are stuck in your comfort zone. I belive a good degree of fear is crucial wild success.
No Box.
Q. So how do you blow up the box? What are some of the innovative trends you think are vital to entrepreneurial success in the 21st Century.
A. The Internet has blown up the box! Think instant global business with no boundaries! The panel emphasized the importance of participating in social networking (facebook, twitter, etc) for entrepreneurial success.

Q. What's the one piece of advice you'd give an aspiring entrepreneur to get their business going?
A.
- don't be afraid to ask for help
- get started now - don't wait for perfect
- talk to customers - is your product/service in-demand
- create a Master Mind group of like-minded entrepreneurs
