COMPLETED SEARCH: MARTINEC family

We are NO LONGER searching for the descendents of Emil MARTINEC {2) , born 2 June 1900, and his wife
                                                                       Rut MARTINCOVA nee MARKOVA, born 8 June 1905.
The marriage was dissolved on 28 August 1952.

Emil MARTINEC (2) had studied Engineering in the USA before World War 2, and was an engineer with the State Planning Institution (an institution established in Czechoslovakia by the Communists after the 1948 coup)
He was supposed to have participated in a meeting of Czech-Polish Scientific-Technical Commission which was held in Poland in January 1949. He was also supposed to have participated in a meeting of the International Committee for Scientific Organizations, held in Copenhagen 20 -23 Jan 1949. He was allowed to travel to Poland and to Denmark via Germany. The permission expired on 30 April 1949.

Emil was the son of yet another Emil
MARTINEC (1). Before the war he had worked for Ministry of Finance in a high ranking position.

The couple had 2 children:

1. Rut MARTINCOVA, born 1 June 1931

2. Emil MARTINEC (3), born 18 February 1934
